MAZZARELLI
The story of an important company speaks of work, tradition, experience and big passion. Ours began in 1960 in Castellana – Grotte, in the province of Bari, with an artisan workshop specializing in top quality men’s shirt. One memorable cause for particular pride and honour was the invitation by Pope Benedict XVI to a private audience for the consignment of three personal shirts, tailor made and sewn entirely by hand. For three generations we have been transforming quality fabrics into refined shirts, with unchanged passion but also with an eye to the latest trends. Today we are still telling a family tale that’s woven with fabrics and written on then, taking the prestige of Italian craftsmanship all over the world.
ITALIAN
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Each single item is chalked out and cut by hand, respecting the symmetries of the fabric patterns and the various parts of the shirt, then put together by our skilled tailors. The sides are stitched with French seams and the sleeves are basted and felled by hand. The shirts are made with the fabrics from the best Italian cotton mills like Albini, Thomas Mason, DJA, Sic Tess, but also with the excellent swiss cotton of Alumo and prized Australian mother of pearl buttons. We love our local area and it’s here we want to work, convinced that values and quality are always rewarded.
